Historic Aviation Floor

Wichita has earned its reputation as The Air Capital of the World. Dating back to the early 1920’s, Wichita has been the hub for aviation manufacturing, engineering, and ingenuity for over 100 years. The stories of Wichita’s aviation pioneers continue to inspire today’s key aviation innovators. The third floor of the Hotel at Old Town has been dedicated to telling Wichita’s aviation story, featuring museum grade displays, historic photos, and local art.

The Hotel at Old Town partnered with local aviation companies, museums, and photo archives to tell the story of Wichita's rich aviation history. The Hotel at Old Town also partnered with local photographer, Brett Schauf of T&J Studios. To learn more about the hotel's curated art collection, click here
